Since 1654 the castle domain, situated along Kasteelstraat in Lozer, has been in the possession of the Della Faille d’Huysse family.
The beautiful castle was called ‘’t Goed Uplosere’ in the 17th century. The block-shaped castle acquired its current neo-classical appearance in the 18th century. From Kasteelstraat you can see the symmetrical rear façade. From Appelhoekstraat you have a view of the front.
The annexes include a gatehouse, a coach house, a yard, service buildings and a tower-shaped garden pavilion. In the forested castle park (30 acres) are several large ponds. From the castle domain a double avenue leads to the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Elisabeth and Bernard della Faille d’Huysse welcome you in their B&B**** and holiday home*****, located in the coach houses of Lozer Castle in Kruisem.
