The castle of Lozer
Since 1654, the castle estate, located along the Kasteelstraat in Lozer, has been owned by the della Faille d’Huysse family. The beautiful castle was called “‘t Goed Uplosere” in the 17th century. The block-shaped castle acquired its current neoclassical appearance during renovations in the 18th century. From the Kasteelstraat, you can see the symmetrical rear facade. From the Appelhoekstraat, you have a view of the front facade.
Vacation homes and Bed & Breakfast
The outbuildings include a gatehouse, coach house, farmyard, service buildings, and a tower-shaped garden pavilion. The wooded castle park (13 hectares) features several large ponds. A double avenue leads from the castle grounds to the Church of O.-L.-Vrouw van Bijstand.
Elisabeth, Bernard, and Jean-Baptiste della Faille d’Huysse welcome you to their B&B and vacation homes, located in the coach houses of Lozer Castle in Kruisem.

Please note: the old kitchen is downstairs and only accessible via the stairs.
Tours and explanations: history of the castle and family, park, exterior facade, entrance hall, large living room, dining room, smoking room, kitchen cellar with a collection of egg cups, old coal heating, what it used to be like, what it is like now, and how we manage it (renovations, etc.).
At the end, a small reception: 1 glass of wine or juice + 2 snacks in connection with THE EGG (Kruisem is the egg municipality) in the entrance hall and, if the weather is nice, on the terrace.
Price: 20.00 euros per person
If 15 persons (instead of 20) the price is €26.00 per person
